Silicon manganese alloy is an alloy composed of manganese, silicon. iron and a small amount of carbon and other elements. lt is a ferroalloy with wide application and large output. Ferromanganese alloy containing sufficient amount of silicon, the melting temperature range is 1075°C-1320°C. Most of them are smelted in open and fixedsubmerged heat electric furnaces. In recent years, rotary and closed electric furnaces have been used forproduction.
